In the hope that we might allay our traditional post-TI depression, however, let’s take an in-depth look at the drafting patterns of the largest and most definitive Dota 2 tournament of the year. Brand new funny stuff about Dota 2 and TI5

After an impressive run in the group stage, CDEC rapidly transitioned from the underdogs status to solid favorites to take the entire tournament and the decisive manner in which they defeated EG in the Upper Bracket finals justifies that completely.

The last lower bracket encounter of the day brought together the two TI champions left in the competition, Hao and xiao8. At TI4 they were playing and winning together but this year found them in separate teams and they had to fight each oother with only one surviving to defend his title.

After they managed to achieve the unbelievable yesterday, Virtus.Pro had to pass another really hard test in the opening series from day five at The International 5, facing the Chinese favorites to win all, LGD Gaming.
